Everything You Wanted to Know About the Device is an independent sci-fi comedy about two former friends, one mysterious time-travel device, and absolutely no agreement about how things went spectacularly sideways. As their feud escalates, each man offers his own wildly absurd version of events—blaming the device for every wrong turn that led to their epic fallout.

Inspired by 1950s B-movies and the confidently evidence-free world of unexplained phenomena, the film leaves open the possibility that the device has genuinely scrambled reality. It also leaves open the equally plausible possibility that both men are completely full of crap. The result is a playful spoof of time-travel logic, unreliable narrators, and our remarkable ability to turn personal failure into a cosmic conspiracy.
